Our independent consultancy works directly with students and families to ensure every step of the process is clear, confident, and successful.

Through careful research and planning, we make sure every student feels confident and ready to begin their next chapter. This is particularly essential for students of 13-14 years who wish to apply to an in-demand college in the US, academically rigorous UK course such as Economics for Oxbridge entry or for the London School of Economics as well as Medicine, Veterinary Science, STEM courses in Hong Kong and Chinese Universities.
Entrance exams are often a key part of boarding primary school admissions and senior school entry. We help you identify your strengths and areas for improvement through tailored assessments.
Our approach focuses on English, mathematics, science, and reasoning skills, while also developing your study habits and exam confidence. You will learn how to manage time effectively, interpret questions clearly, and demonstrate your academic potential in a competitive environment.
This preparation helps you achieve results that reflect your ability and support your wider academic goals.
Many families we work with live outside the UK. Our process is designed to make this simple and reassuring. We provide full boarding school guidance for students wherever you are based, using a mix of online meetings, assessments, and in-person visits when possible.
When you visit the UK, we meet you and your parents to discuss progress, visit schools together, and prepare for interviews. We can also accompany families visiting schools in other countries if needed.
Our aim is to make every international student feel supported, confident, and ready to adapt to British education for students from diverse cultures.
Please do not worry about this. I will support you online and in person should your parents require this. I meet all students when they come to the UK to visit boarding or day schools here. Where your parents may wish me to accompany them to visit schools in other countries, I can also do this.
That is yes, especially where I may be collaborating with other friends or family members who are looking at different schools and have different interests to you.
I have run boarding Houses in different schools in the UK, so I am fully aware of the challenges as well as the opportunities of boarding for the first time and away from home, country, and culture. This knowledge supports the process of making you feel as ready and able to accept the wonderful chance to make new friends, learn much about yourself including independence, appreciate your home and family more and receive a great education in and out of the classroom.
We will help you discover your academic strengths and weaknesses because of considered and supportive subject assessments, putting you in pole position to be successful in your entrance examinations.
You will be prepared for any interview and in-school event that forms part of the entrance process. Please do not worry! You can as both Oxford and Cambridge have made this clear in their list of entry requirements and the differing exam boards and curricular structures which they consider. Early consideration of the routes on offer as part of your university and school choices are highly recommended!
