About

Real, Rare and Relevant

EJC Education Consultancy was founded by CEO Elizabeth Clarke. She aimed to bring an original approach to educational guidance for parents, individual students, and school communities based upon over twenty years of experience in the independent sector in the UK and internationally.

EJC Education Consultancy is an educational practice that provides gains for all its students, parents, and schools, founded upon values that focus on trust, care, and knowledge at their heart.

Whether as a parent, an individual student or as a school, EJC Education Consultancy is often approached for its ability to solve problems. We meet challenges or current concerns that are too often cause for concern or are otherwise known as ‘pains.’

As an educational practice, we work differently by using a coherent and ‘joined-up’ approach to questions and concerns that are presented to us. Our approach uses experience and knowledge gained operationally as an executive member of multiple SLT’s (Senior Leadership Teams) in independent schools in the UK and internationally in the Middle East and Asia. And strategically as a non-executive Board member or Governor of two major independent schools in the UK, non-executive experience in education as a Governor of two well HMC schools in the UK. These include Downe House, an all-girls boarding school in Berkshire, and Whitgift School in East Croydon, an all-boys school that in 2020 was the independent boys’ school of the year and boys’ sports school of the year. Whitgift achieved a place in the top 10 IB results worldwide in 2020.

“Elizabeth has been instrumental in my journey as a student. She guided my transition from Vasant Valley in New Delhi to Benenden School in England at 13+ in September 2016. Although my family and I knew little about Benenden before I joined, we put our faith in her and it was one of the best decisions we made regarding my academic career. Not only was Benenden a perfect fit for me, through its perfect balance between academics and pastoral care, but it also aided in my admission to Columbia University. Without Benenden, I would not have found my passion for STEM, and without Elizabeth I would not have found Benenden. I am truly grateful to the role she played.”
